Advanced Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Project

Installation of Equipment

In collaboration with Van Dyk Recycling Solutions; Axiom provided Millwrighting and Fabrications services to install the Bollegraaf equipment purchased by Canada Fibers located in in Toronto, Ontario,

Specialized sorting equipment included 10 Titech optical sorting units, 22 vacuum hoods , a Lubo PaperMagnet®, PaperSpikes® (to sort OCC and boxboard), and glass breaker screens.

The new facility has the highest recovery rate in the industry, and is projected to process 350,000 tonnes per year. The goal is nothing less than a 95 per cent recovery rate of all commodities.
